I use family heirlooms, antiques, and original creations to surround my rooms with memory and spirit and life. I use color to unite disparate items, and I love working with contrast to find balance: old with new, hard with soft, bright with quiet. My work reflects my spirit, the spirit I inherited from my grandmothers: one of collection and creation, one that finds beauty in ordinary things and one that makes it out of thin air, one that both shimmers and sprawls, just like Pearls and Ferns. |
